adding sound and saving with corel videostudio x7

Post by srstone »

hi

Just purchased videostudio x7. Im finding it impossible to put sound on a specific time on my video time line, I keep ending up 00.00.10 seconds off any ideas on how I can work with this. Also I saved my project as a .VSP after editing it yesterday, but when I opened it today the clip was still in place but the old sound was back, the new sound was completely gone, also I cant remove the sound any longer to add the new edited sound. Why isn't the program saving the edits im creating? And why cant I edit it today?

Thank you

Hi srstone

Welcome to the forums.

Fram your description I think you may have saves several versions of your project????????

A project file is a small file (Video Studio Project) VSP file, this saves the edits applied to the timelines.

First save your project giving it a new memorable name. “Test project.VSP”
After editing your project save your project again, File – Save, will save your edits to the existing project file.
Do not use File- Save As, that will require a name and ultimately create a new project.

To open your projects, first start Video Studio
File Open Project- to browse your hard drive for your VSP files “Test Project”

Also

File – shows a list of the most recent used projects, up to 4 showing at the bottom.

Removing clips from the timeline
Click a clip to select, notice the yellow trim handles—press delete.
Also Right click will give other options, including delete

Hope this helps
