Automated Save

While using my newly installed Paintshop Pro X7 (which was a problem itself) to make scrapbook pages, I am constantly having to wait for it to "save". I haven't asked it to save. It just does a save quite often. Is there anyway I can turn off this automated save or at least make the time between "saves" longer. I spend more time waiting for the save process to get done (as it has frozen my work) than I do actually using the activated working spaces.

Both, you can turn this off or lengthen the time between saves.

Those options are in the preferences

File -> Preferences -> Autosave Settings

Edit Workspace tab

This isn't doing an actual save, it's just creating a backup in case the program crashes so that it can recover.
