Install Paint Shop Pro x7 question
If I install the 64 bit version only, will it open and run faster than if I install both 32 bit and 64 bit versions? I don't believe I use plugins unless frames and Tubes are considered plugins. I have it installed on my windows 8.1 machine now (8GB ram) with both versions installed and it opens more slowly than version x5 does on my Windows 7 machine. I want to install it on my Windows 7 machine (12 GB ram) but was thinking of only installing the 64 bit version.

Re: Install Paint Shop Pro x7 question
It will only ever open one version or the other. It shouldn't make any difference if you install one or both in this regard.

Re: Install Paint Shop Pro x7 question
Thanks. I went ahead and installed just the 64 bit version and it does open faster than on the newer Win 8.1. Maybe it's just the 4GB difference in ram
