When trying to import videos files of MOV format, they import fine into Studio, but they have no sound. So I rendered a short version to an MP4 format, and it also had no sound.
However, when I use my old Studio 5, it works fine.
I also can't find anything on the Knowledgebase regarding this problem.
Anyone have a solution to this problem? I just spent $500 on a new camera that I now can't even use the video format on Thanks Corel.

I did read that topic, and I do have Quicktime installed. When I look at my video file within VS, it too says there is no audio. However, looking at the raw file in Windows Explorer, it does show sound properties. The other thing is that it work fine in VideoStudio 5. So what's up with that?

Based on the information within Windows Explorer, they are as follows:
Bit Rate: 1540KBPS
Channels: 2 ( Stereo)
Audio Sample Rate: 48KHz
But when I look at the audio information in the Studio is shows "None", so somehow it is not importing the audio unless it has a problem with the above info.

OK, I figured this out. Quicktime must have been corrupted. I had to uninstall it, then re-install. I actually had to use CCCleaner to uninstall it because it wouldn't even who up as a program under the Control Panel. And the uninstall feature would not work form the menu bar. I've always had trouble with Quicktime, so there was obviously something wrong with it.
