Delete option in Batch Move not working

ASP 2.1 under Windows 7. The batch output copy menu has an option 'Delete original files'. This worked fine in ASP 1, and made the 'copy' into a 'move', which is what I want.

In 2.1 it copies (raw file and xmp file), then deletes the original filename.arw.xmp, but leaves the raw arw file in place. A clean move of flagged files shows very quickly any files I missed during flagging. This is no longer possible.
