As far as I know, Darktable doesn't have automatic lens corrections either. I just looked and it tells me to enter them manually, which is not possible.
But this is a ASP forum ;), so I just hope someone at Corel picks this up and it will be added soon.

Maybe it depends on supported lenses of lensfun (http://lensfun.sourceforge.net/lenslist).
For e.g. XC16-50 just enable lens correction and the heavy distortion vanishes ...
