Importing multiple language tracks from DVD

Post by PRobert »

I'm using VideoStudio X7 Pro and am attempting to import from a DVD that has multiple language tracks. Whenever I import it only brings in the English track but I need one of the other languages and can't seem to find any setting to change the properties to allow that. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

There is no function within VideoStudio to import multiple sound tracks - or indeed to switch tracks to a different language.

My own personal solution to that would be to actually play the video in a DVD player with the language I wanted selected and then capture the out put as mpeg.

Apart from Brian's solution, the program I use for what you want is called Video ReDo. But unfortunately, it is a commercial program, costing when I bought it US$50...

DVDshrink will allow you to create a version of the original with the language track of your choice.
