Sorry I am sure this has been covered before but I cannot locate that information after doing a 'search'.
ALSO I just noticed that with VS there is a menu item selectable to backup libraries etc which I didn't do (before I reformatted and re-installed).
HOWEVER I did take a copy of my entire C: drive before I reformatted and re-installed Windows 7 and VS6.
Is it possible to simply COPY certain files (from my backup to the correct location for VS6 to be able to 'see' them? If so where are they stored and what needs to be copied?
Thanks.

Re: How to restore libraries data in VS6
Hi John
You may be best starting from scratch with your new installation, at least you know its squeaky clean.
There is a folder here:-
C:\Users\User Name \AppData\Roaming\Ulead Systems\Corel VideoStudio Pro\16.0
The Old Windows copy should contain the old library.
Try replacing this folder with the new location.
If it causes problems delete the folder and start from scratch.
By the way the folder structure is hidden by the operating system you will have to set “Show hidden Files and Folders”

Re: How to restore libraries data in VS6
Thanks Trevor.
I had been looking for a folder named Corel and that's how I missed finding the files.
Strange that X6 was still using Ulead Systems as a folder name since the new company is Corel.
Anyway thanks again and I have successfully copies the folder named 16.0 and it's contents and it works.
