Full Version or Upgrade

What is the difference in between the full version and the upgrade version PaintShopPro X7 Ultimate

To my knowledge none. (Assuming you mean from x6 to x7).They are the same product. Otherwise I'll be having a few stern words to Corel.

brucet is correct. Upgrade refers to pricing; the software is identical and is a full installation regardless of whether you pay to "upgrade" or not.

So it wouldn't make any sense for me to purchase or upgrade from PSP 16.

It does seem to me there are more and more version updates and they are never far apart!

Not sure I follow your logic - you asked about the difference between Upgrade and 'full' versions of X7 - surely it is the differences between X6 and X7 which will be the basis for any decision to move up a version.

Maybe I am misunderstanding the replies, it sounded to me like there was not much difference between the programs so why waste the money? Guess I read them wrong since I see the differences. When I go to the page to purchase shoud I purchaed the full verion or just the upgrade to get everything

Your question was what is the difference between upgrade and full versions - and the answer correctly given to you was nothing except the price.

When you purchase the upgrade you get a 'full' version of X7 at a reduced price.

You did NOT ask what is the difference between X6 and X7 - if you had then you will get a different answer as indicated by the table I directed you to.

OR you could have asked - "what is the difference between the 'pro' and the 'Ultimate pro' versions of X7 " - when you would again have been told that the two programmes are the same but the Ultimate comes with some additional content.
