PSP X7 Help file not installed

Post by nounours18200 »

Hi,

I have recently upgraded from PSP X6 Ult. to X7 Ultimate, and the F1 function does not work: no help when I press it.

If I go to the Help menu, then it opens a browser and displays the online help trhough internet.

How to proceed in order to have the instalation files installed on the PC (and so available without an internet connnection ) ?

Thanks

Hmm? F1 works for me but I realize that doesn't help you much. To get a local copy of the Help File go to Help -> User Guide (PDF) and save the PDF file to your computer.

You can also get the help file by simply ignoring the 'online' popup when you are not connected. Ignore it and the built in help will open.

To get a local copy of the Help File go to Help -> User Guide (PDF) and save the PDF file to your computer.
Easy to do , but this will probably not make the F1 working : will it ???

I doubt it but it does get you a copy of the Help file. If it is that important to you to access the Help files via the F1 key, suggest you contact Corel as this is a User to User board.

Are you always conected to the internet when you hit the F1 key as it seems to go to the site and load from there rather than using a local copy.
I have tested and F1 key works on an Windows XP and Windows 7 machine, but both are internet connected and I have not tried it offline.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867
