Hi grandma carol, welcome to the forum!

However, I am afraid that your question is a bit like ringing up an auto mechanic and saying "my car goes for 36 miles then stops, what am I doing wrong?" In fact, it's a bit worse since the mechanic would presumably say "Bring it in and we'll have a look at it." But we can't do that. We have no physical access to your computer. We have no idea what is in your project -- where the video came from, its format, what editing you have done to it, what music or voice-overs you might have added, how long it is, and what you are trying to produce. Indeed, we don't know what workflow you have followed to get the rendering going: are you trying to produce a new video clip? If so, what format? If trying to produce a disc, did you jump straight from the editing stage to the burning of the disc, without first producing a new video file from the project in the format appropriate to the type of disc you are burning?

Most important of all, if you have tried rendering several times and it always stops about 36%, what is in your project at about that point which might need closer attention: a filter? Some video which might be slightly corrupt?

So it would help us help you if you could provide some of this information. First of all, right click on one of the video clips in the project -- right click it in the Video Studio timeline, and copy ALL its Properties here; or else, if you know how, take a screen grab of the Properties box and upload it here as an attachment. That at least might start us down the road to finding a solution.

Sorry about being so vague, I wasn't sure what you needed.
I'm trying to produce a new video file. My project is a new one with clips from various sources: Galaxy android phone, Galaxy android tablet, jpg pictures, as well as mp3 music, VS transitions and titles.
I have used Corel VS for years and this is the first time I'm having trouble rendering a file to later copy and burn to a DVD. Attached is the information you asked for. (hope this snipping tool works, it's my first time using it). Thank you Ken for your help
