No more moving files to recycle bin?

With previous vs (6) and most other video editing programs (Pinnacle and imovie that I also use), you have the option to delete the video files too after deleting the thumbnails. Not with vs9 though that's why I was wondering... with vs9, can I not delete unwanted video thumbnails and actual files at the same time anymore? (seems i can only delete the thumbnails.)

Hi
Press and hold Shift whilst pressing Delete.
A second window will prompt you to delete the file from your hard drive.

Follow Trevor's advice. To give a brief explanation, though, with previous versions, as you know, you could delete a thumbnail and the original file at the same time. The problem was that a lot of people only meant to delete the thumbnail but wanted to keep the original clip. So Ulead obviously decided to take a different tack with VS9, allowing only the thumbnails to be deleted unless you took the conscious decision to hold down the Shift key while deleting.
