I tried to install new blue essentials 4, I selected video studio and it prompted me to select the directory I selected c:\program files\corel\plugin.
but when I goto FX and click the dropped down it shows new blue essential V but not the essential 4 that I installed does anyone have a suggestion what i'm doing wrong

I have a similar issue, but with me it is Essentials Package 3 which does not show when the FX drop down box is selected, however the filters are correctly installed and show when the ALL category is selected, so search the ALL category and see if you can locate the individual filters from package 3.
Neither Corel or New Blue can offer an explanation of why some packges show and others do not.

That is the wrong sub-folder. They have to be installed in theCorel VideoStudio [Ultimate]/[Pro] X7\vft_plug sub-folder.it prompted me to select the directory I selected c:\program files\corel\plugin.
It depends on how many other filters you have installed. There is a limit on how many categories/packages will show in the drop-down menu. Once you get past that number, they no longer show except in the ALL category...the filters are correctly installed and show when the ALL category is selected... Only the first 20 folders showing in the drop down box will open as individual folders when selected, any further folders, whilst they may show, will not open and the only way to find them is to search in the ALL category. with VSX7 I have 22 folders showing and with VSX6 I had 24 folders showing but again only the first 20 can be opened as individual folders, maybe a feature request for the next versionKen Berry wrote:It depends on how many other filters you have installed.
