Hi,
Just started using PaintShop Pro X7. Most of my files were automatically imported after installation. However, all of my original files (unedited) have been saved to subfolders of the main folders and were not included in the original import. Followed directions in User Guide...Collections...Browse More Folders...Select and OK, but nothing happens; I expected to see the subfolders available in the Navigation palette.
I can open individual files in these folders from the file menu, but then the program opens it in the Edit tab and when I switch to the Adjust tab, which I would prefer to use, I lose the file. So, when I'm in the Manage tab I would like to see ALL my files there and when I choose one, I should be able to go right into the Adjust mode with it.
Thank you.

Re: Can't import folder
PSP does not import folders. Navigation in any of the functions (Manage, Adjust, Edit) shows the organization of your directories and sub-directories and allows you to select a directory (folder) from which to view or access files.
In Manage, Navigation palette allows accessing the folders via Computer or Collections tabs. Computer shows all the directories on a drive, such as C: but requires going through the branches of the tree. To make life easier you can identify the folders you use most often and locate them in Collections. Click on "Browse more folders" and make your way to and click on the folder you want. For example, if I click on the folder "2014" which is in "My Pictures" in C:, it and all its sub-folders will show up under "Folders" in Collections; where it is located in the Computer does not matter and is not shown. Selecting the folder in Manage/Collections (or Computer) allows you to see the thumbnails of all the files if the thumbnail view is selected - far upper-right on the screen.
In Edit one can open a number of files and move among them - edit each without closing others and copy and paste among them. Adjust allows working on only one image at a time and saving from Adjust closes any files open in Edit. So it is a question of working either with Adjust or Edit. My preference is to work in Edit as it does all that Adjust can do and far more and allows for undoing, etc. It is worth your time to learn the basics of Edit, and this forum helps with that.
