Hello,
I had been using VSX6 but jumped at the chance to upgrade to VS X7. I had many sound files with X6 but cant find any in the X7 install. What is wrong?
Thanks,
ITHarleyGuy

Is it just a case of the files not populating the libraries - or have they not been unpacked into folders on your hard drive - have a look and see if C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7\Samples\Audio is there and does it have any files in it.

Re: No music/sound files with X7 install
Hi
I had a similar problem, the folders Brian mentioned were limited to a few files, seems very strange.
I reinstalled the program which populated the libraries in full, all ok
So far unable to replicate the problem, even re-installing a few times.

You may not have the same problem…
Your installation file, was it over 2 Gb, if about 1 Gb then you should have an extra Contents file that would complete the installation by adding library content.

Re: No music/sound files with X7 install
Hi Brian,
Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately, I haven't had much time with Christmas activities to get back to this issue.
My software is installed on my drive F since I have a relatively small SSD for a C: drive. I checked the F:\Program Files\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7\Samples\Audio folder and found 40 .mpa files. I presume that is the full complement of installation audio files. Now I'm wondering if installing VSPX7 on drive F: caused the problem. Anyway, with the fact that the files were actually there I did some clicking in the Samples folder and discovered how to insert them into the library. Thanks for your help there!
I later discovered there is nothing in the Graphic Library either! In the same manner as I used for the audio files I was able to add the Graphic/Decoration files. Thanks for your help. I like VS again! And I learned something today!!
