AS 2 vs AS Pro 2?

I see references to "Aftershot 2" and "Aftershot Pro 2." What are the differences? Updates seem to be updating only the former.

As far as I can see, the update file is the same for both packages. That would suggest that the executable of both versions is identical, and (as AFX suggests) the license key turns on the additional functionality. I have certainly seen changes as a result of the recent updates (more the last but one than the most recent), and I am using Pro.

As I suspected, AS2 is the low-priced version of ASP2, though nowhere can I find any reference to what it leaves out, if anything.

Sharing an update file does not mean they're identical--could be that the update covers only those elements the two have in common, or that the update file simply doesn't update any features not found in the file it's updating.

Incidentally, Corel's Web site doesn't list the latest update, though the Forum's does.

That's odd! I know Corel's website is hosed (I get messages in different languages on the same page); all the same, the 2.1.1.9 update is shown for both AS2 and ASP2

It depends on which route you take through the Web site. After posting the above, I found a different page on the site which was identical to the Forum's update page.
