Is this possible?

Post by terrypin »

Here's a section of a Christmas card I've just sent.

Image

I actually wanted to place the text 'on 4th Jan' on the bottom of that globe, but of course it was then upside down and unreadable. Is it possible to achieve a readable result please? I want somehow to place the text on the inside of a curve in that area, but my experiments so far have not produced smooth results.

There are many tutorials on this. And they should still work for PSP 8.

Take the circle path, convert it to an object: Objects -> Convert to Path

Then Reverse the path: Objects -> Edit -> Reverse Path

The text should be on the inside of the curve now. You can then use the offset values to put the text outside the curve but still have it on the bottom.
