Greetings,
I created a project which is approximately 1 hour long. It is a combination of videos and pictures. I was able to burn it to a DVD with no problem.
I recently added the pan and zoom feature to all the pictures. Now when I try to burn it to a DVD the program stops working and shuts down.
After I am finished with the project I click on the Share tab, then the DVD icon and then the DVD box at the top of the program under Save project to disc.
That brings me to the preview screen. When I click next at the bottom of the screen is when I get the following message.
Corel Video Studio has stopped working with the following details.
C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Temp\WEREE19.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Temp\WER5BF.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\Temp\WER6D9.tmp.hdmp
If I try it on a project I created without pan and zoom it works fine.
I tried to reinstall video studio 6 and 7 with no success. It happens with both versions
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi
With your project open in the timeline.
Share Create video file to play on Computer—choose Mpeg2 720 x *** 16:9
That will render the project to a Compliant Mpeg2 video file.
Does that render without problems?

Thanks for the reply. I tried that as a work a round and was able to render the file. The only problem I see doing it that way is that it does not create an ISO file.

But you can still maker an ISO using that new mpeg-2. Go to File > New Project. Don't worry about giving it a name as the objective is merely to clear the timeline of your project.
Then you go to Share again, where you choose DVD. The burning module will open and its timeline should be empty. Click on the top left hand icon ("Add Video Files") and select your new video clip. Then go to the Options cogwheel icon in the bottom left of the burning screen and make sure the box beside "Do Not Convert Compliant MPEG files" is ticked. Then make your chapters and build your menu. And on the final page, select the disc image option instead of an actual disc.
