Another audio question - I realize there are others today

Post by Dekade »

I was additionally wondering:

I'm trying to discern whether to apply "effects/filter" to my project before or after it has been Share > MPEG2. I will be using AVS4YOU Audio Editor. A very nice program. This program does allow an entire video to be imported and then the effects/filters applied. But I will be having some extra sound tracks and such. I don't need to apply effects/filters to those areas. Thus I may want to Share > Audio BEFORE I add music and other audio.

If I choose to export the audio track using Share > Audio > .wav ----- then, when the audio is reinserted into the project to replace the current split audio - will the new edited file still appropriately sync with the video clip (assuming no cutting of the sound clip has been performed); only effects / filters applied?

Also, if I split all of the audio from all of the project clips - Is there any way to join all of them? ... Well, Duh, :? I guess that would be Share > Audio  .

I still remained concerned about exporting then importing back into VSx7 Ultimate and have everything sync back up correctly.

Is all of the above mumble jumble or am I being clear on my concerns? :?: Please question me so I can elaborate if need be.

Hi

Share –Audio will create a file of the entire length of the project. You do not need to Split Audio to do that.

Edit the Wav with another editor and it can be placed back on the audio track and should fit, no sync problems, providing of course the files have not been cut.
You would mute the video clips audio, share Create Video File will render the audio to the rest of the project.

Split Audio

This creates a separate audio file and mutes the associated video clip.
You can restore the video clips sound simply by Un-Mute, delete the split audio clip.

Thanks again. That should help me experiment quickly and determine the way to go on this project today.
