Hello,
I am a great fan of Corel Videostudio X7.
However, I do not find a way to adjust the volume for the entire video project. It looks like I always need to do it clip per clip which is very time consuming.
I have tried CTRL-A to select all the clips and used the volume slider, but that does not work.
The only thing that does seem to work is to play the project and then use the slider. Disadvantage is that I have to play the entire project.
Is there a way to accomplish this ? I have consulted several tutorials but find no info on this.
Kind regards.
Adjust volume for entire project

Re: Adjust volume for entire project
Hi ccwriter
Unfortunately no, we cannot set the volume level for multiple clips.
Some options…..
You could render the project to a new video file, then adjust the volume.
But…
You could render the project to create a Audio File, place the file on one of the sound tracks then adjust the levels, mute the individual video clips, Shift Click to select adjacent clips, right click for mute, yes that will mute all.
If you are using other audio clips you may have to remove those before creating the audio file? I don’t know what you have in the timelines?

Re: Adjust volume for entire project
Thanks for the reply.
I really love working with Corel Videostudio as it works very fast and stable.
It is however a pity that adjusting the volume for an entire project cannot easily be performed.
I used to use Pinnacle Studio and there it could easily be done in seconds. But I must say that I am much more a fan of Video Studio as it works muuuuuuch faster.
It would however be a great improvement if this could be resolved in Videostudio 8 e.g. right clicking inside the video track and being able to "set audio level for project"
