Can not install VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_64bit

I purchased VideoStudio Ultimate X7 online and installed VSX7_Ult_PF_x64_2014-10-03.exe successfully. When I tried to install VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_64bit.exe, I got a message window containing the text below,

After pressing OK, nothing happen.

Anyone know what error I got from this installation, please help.

And welcome to the forums….

When you say you purchased on line, was that from the Corel official web site.

When you run the VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_x64.exe file it should extract the contents to a Setup folder here.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel VideoStudio Ultimate X7 Setup Files.
The programs files will also be in this folder.

Did the installation go through the extraction process for both exe files?

Your forum profile shows you using Windows 7, yet the error message refers to Vista, confirm you are running Windows 7.
I have no idea what the message means, maybe others have ideas.

Try right click the VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_x64.exe and run as Administrator?

do you think you may have a corrupt file or not fully downloaded, have you tried downloading again.

How big is your Bonus.exe file in Gb?

I never lie. You can see from attached image and .pdf files.
I always install my software as the administrator.

The attached image shows the error message I got.
The .pdf file, shows the confirmation that I purchased from an authorized dealer online. Please open it. You can see the Corel and Cleverbridge logos and some English items in the confirmation letter. I paid via payPal and I have a confirmation email from payPal that who I paid.

Perhaps this thread will help - user got the same error message as you and seems to have solved the problem by downloading again. A google search shows that this error may be due to corrupted Windows system files.

The downloaded file sizes you show are a little different to the ones I have, I can understand the program files being a little larger, I think Corel may have included the Service Pack as part of those. Corel do seem to have changed the download sizes, don’t really understand why, but does cause some confusion.

The VSX7_Ultimate_Bonus_x64.exe I see as 1,458,929 Kb ---quite a difference to your 1,136,878Kb file.

Have you tried downloading that file again?

Not yet. But when I bought this package long time ago and had no time to install it, it said my download link will be valid only a specific period as shown in the attached image. I don't know if I can download it again.

Sorry, I was wrong about the year. My download link will be active until 8/10/2016. I'm downloading it now. This will take about 2 hours.

Good luck with that, once you have a working copy of the files, you are best burning them to a DVD Disc/s as a backup, along with all serial numbers.

If the original Bonus file does prove to be faulty, you will be best to delete or re-name the Setup folder before trying to install the new installation file.

My new download got the same file size as yours.
I installed it and everything went on smoothly.
My previous download may had been corrupted without any error message.
