Software Updates/Fixes and Modifications for VideoStudio 9

I have gone to the ulead website to get the latest hotfixes/patches for Videostudio 9 but cannot find any. I am using the following URL:

The following are displayed:

(1) Ulead VideoStudio 9 Hauppauge hardware devices support pack (Release Date: 2005/06/13 )
(2) Ulead VideoStudio 9 SE Hauppauge hardware devices support pack (Release Date: 2005/06/13)
(3) Ulead VideoStudio 9 Terratec hardware devices support pack (Release Date: 2005/06/13)

Since I do not have any additional hardware I am assuming that I do not need these service packs. Is this correct? What are the service packs for?

correct since you don't any of these specific devices you don't need the updates

The service packs are only required if you have any of those particular hardware devices. they are to make those devices work correctly with VideoStudio.
