OK so Corel sent me a 'to good to miss deal email' and I upgraded to PSPx7.
I have an issue. I hope it's PSPx7 and not really me!
When I'm using tools I get all the usual options. ie Open a file and user Pan tool. All the options such as Zoom etc are visible.
I click on View/Full Screen Preview. All still working ok.
BUT when I return to the edit screen my options have gone.
Same happens with other tools. Once I use Full Screen Preview and return to the edit screen the options have gone.
Any clues on what I'm doing wrong. PSPx6 never had this issue.
regards
Need x7 help.

One other note.
If I switch to Manage or Adjust screens and return to Edit the options reappear.

I just tried but was not able to replicate the issue you are seeing.
When you refer to your options, I'm assuming you mean the options on the Tools Option palette pictured below. If not, let us know. Is your toolbar docked? Have you tried a reset to factory default http://corel.force.com/index/articles/e ... 000000L3Ro

Re: Need x7 help.
Thanks. Yes your screen shot is what I'm talking about. I can't keep it visible if I go to Full Screen mode and back. I can't seem to dock it at all.
Why is my brain not working or what have I done wrong?

If you need to dock your tool bar, drag it to the middle of the workspace until you see the arrows and then let go of it over one of the arrows. Here's a screen shot that shows the arrows.

Re: Need x7 help.
Thanks. I drag it to the centre and 'dock' the tool bar. That's ok. But as soon as I try to reposition the tool bar anywhere else on the screen the issue starts again.
I've had the same work space for many versions of PSP. The tool bar options is always docked at the top right over the Manage/Adjust/Edit buttons. can't waste valuable real estate! If I leave the tool bar options where PSPx7 wants it it takes up space I wont/need.
Very frustrating.

Re: Need x7 help.
OK enough mucking around. There is something amiss with the docking. Regardless of what I do I can't get two tool bar to dock/stick at the top of the Edit screen. When ever I use View/Full Screen preview on return one of the tool bars will be gone.
So for now I have the Standard tools vertically to the left. Alongside that the Tools bar. Tool Options horizontal on the top. A custom tool bar below the Tools on the left. (Sorry I can't do a screen shot at this time).
Actually it works fine this way as it gives me more vertical height for photos. It's just a matter of getting use to it.
Still no idea why no more than one menu will stick to the top.
I suspect it has something to do with Win 8.1. My Ctrl and F buttons also don't work in PSP. Not that I ever use them.
