How to get video with ch. and enhancements saved on comp.
I am currently working in a dance studio where they're taking VHS tapes of old performances and converting them to DVDs and computer files. I have successfully burned the video onto a DVD with the enhancements and title menu with chapters, but I can't figure out how to save the video with enhancements and title menu with ch. as a video file to be stored on the computer. It just has the video with no title menu. Also, is there any file format I should save it in to be able to then transfer it to an external hard drive?? We have a lot of videos to enhance and I don't want them taking up all the storage space in the office computer.

When you get to the final burn screen save the whole project as an .iso file - this can then be played on any computer with the correct software - such as the FREE VLC player - you can then transfer the .iso file to any external hard drive for storage.
It also has the advantage that it can be used to create copies of the DVD without using VideoStudio
When you get to the final burn screen UNCHECK the burn to disk option and if you do not see the option to create an .iso file click on the two little arrows at the right of the screen

Sorry - An .iso file is a Disk Image File so choose that.
Creating folders would also do what you want but it is not quite so tidy as an .iso

Hi
Just to add………….
You may be best creating the ISO first, play using VLC Player to check quality, that will play the menu as well as video.
Then use Tools – Burn from Disc Image ISO to burn the disc.
Windows 7 can also burn Iso files, right click the ISO for options – open with – windows disc image burner.
