PSPX6 Crashing when using filters

Post by daremeto »

I am using PSPX6 32 bit so i can use my third party filters. i have been using them for months now with absolutely no problems. now all of a sudden none of my filters work, not even the KPT filters that came with the program. what would cause this to happen and how do i fix it?
update: well my filters are showing but when i try to use one it crashes the program.

Have you recently added any new third party filters?

Remove the plugin folder. Create a new one. Add a filter one at a time and test PSP. See which filters are causing the problem.
Maybe you need to restore PSP to default. Close PSP, hold the Shift key whilst clicking the icon to open PSP. Once open, try you filters again.
Your previous workspace (if you made one) is still saved in your folder so you can activate that again. Try filters once more. If PSP crashes then it could relate to a glitch in the workspace........just saying.
