PSPX7 Ultimate Installation Error

I purchased a physical copy of Paintshop Pro X7 Ultimate and tried installing on my laptop this morning, but I receive the following error message once it got to about 57%:

Your system has not been modified. To complete installation at another time, please run setup again.

I had a previous trial version (X4) that was installed, but has long since been removed. I used the removal tool just in case to completely remove any traces. Still same message. I have also tried the following: disabling the User Account Control, temporarily disabling my anti-virus program, installing in safe mode, creating a new user account with admin rights and installing from there, but none of these methods have worked. Any ideas on what I can do to get this installed correctly?

As you have just purchased PSPX7 then you are entitled to 30 days free help from Corel. I suggest you contact them.
