Merger tracks by wav

Post by steadydon »

I see in Adobe Premier CC that you can merge a video track (that has poor audio) to a audio only track (that is good quality) via "Merge by wav" so the good audio syncs up with the video to replace the poor audio. Can this be done in Corel Video Studio Pro X6 or X7? This video show what I'm talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJGWnGFtOQA

There is no facility to automatically synchronise sound and picture in any version of VideoStudio - it has to be done manually .

Well darn!!! Looks like I'll be looking into another program. Final Cut does it, Adobe Premier CC does it, so I'll look at Windows Movie Maker and others. Farewell Corel Video Studio!!!

Heck I would love to continue to stay with Video Studio, however, my needs have changed. I need a simple way (when ever possible) to match up two audio files (match by wav) to sync to one video file.

Hi
Not sure what you are trying to do but..
If you have a video with poor audio, you can choose to create a Wav, sound file, that will create a file of the entire timeline.
Edit that wav in your audio editor to enhance the sound.
Import to Video Studio music track and the clip should be in sync.
Mute the video.
