Setup cannot find Corel Aftershot 2 installed on your system

I am a Lightroom user but am interested in trying Aftershot 2.

I downloaded the 64-bit Windows version (I am running Windows 8.1), clicked on the file, and after a few seconds the installation program returned the phrase mentioned in the subject of this post.

I have a purchased version of VideoStudio X7 installed on my computer if for some reason that makes a difference.

Any ideas how I can get past the error message?

Seems likely that Corel have a problem with there distributed Windows version of the program. There is a similar post immediatley before yours!

Yup, it's my post underneath. Download trial from other website, I used one from Polish site http://www.dobreprogramy.pl/ http://download.dphostf.pl/?ic_user_id=287. It worked for me.

I just tried the 32-bit version...same problem.

I have same problem "Setup cannot...". Want to try out the program as daughter has Pana GX7 and ASP doesn't support it. I've been a PSP user from when it was a Minnesota company before Corel took it over. Meaning PSP 4 to PSP X6 Ultimate. Have all plus ASP. Right, Can't find ASP2 because I don't have it and it looks like I won't.

I think the update will require the original program to be installed.
