PSP X7 Out of Memory Issues with Old Plugins

Post by rlpmonroe »

Having been PSP user since PSP 5. I use the 32 bit version so I can access a large number of old plugins that have been my favorites for years. These plugins are working well under version X6, but crash with an "out of memory error" when I try to use them with X7. I have other plugins that work great. I thought maybe it was a dll that actually drops in the program folder but haven't found any info on this. Any ideas. Shouldn't be a memory issue, I have tried and can get the same message with a 512 x 512 image and nothing else open. Machine is 64 Bit Windows 7 Pro. Any ideas on how to solve this would be appreciated.

Bit vague. Which plug ins?
You are aware that quite a few bugs have arrived in X7 and hopefully some or all??? may be solved with a service pack.
Systems available Win7, Win 8.1,Win 10 Version 1607 Build 14393.2007 & version 20H2 Build 19042.867

Andrews Filters

Just about all of the old 8 bit plug ins.

I m using the 32Bit version of x7 just for my old plugins

Many, many third party plugins will not work in PSPX7. This is being addressed currently.

As for Andrews Filters, Graphics Plus and Toadies, I placed mine in Filters Unlimited and they work just fine.

Using Filters Unlimited was also my workaround for my Graphics Plus plug-ins.
