Help re-installing Photoimpact
I installed the old version (TBYB) of X3 on a new computer, for which I had purchased a license. As has been mentioned elsewhere, the old version won't activate. I downloaded the current TBYB from Corel to see if maybe that would work. However, it remembers information about the old trial, and I get the server not found error. Does anyone know where in the registry that information is kept, or conversely which keys I can copy over from my old computer to make it think it's registered? I hate to pay $30 for something I already own. I would consider upgrading to something else, but most editors now are more like Photoshop (not object oriented like X3).

Hi
And welcome to the forums
When you purchased PI X3 was that the Upgrade version, if yes then you require proof of purchase of an earlier version, either by providing the serial number or installing the earlier version.
Visit the Corel site to view your account, you should be able to view the serial numbers ofyou’re your registered products.
Corel have a Facebook account which as far as we know is staffed by Corel employees, they may be able to help?
