Hello!
Is the "DVD-video" created in Corel DVD MovieFactory Pro 7 multizone? ( i am in Europe and need to send a DVD to the states)
I cant find the possibility to choose the zones or to see, if the product is multizone or not...
Thank you in advance for your help!

Re: Is the "DVD-video" multizone?
no DVD's made with Movie Factory are Region Free - which means they do not have regional restrictions
BUT
There are two main video systems in the world known as PAL and NTSC
Most of Europe uses PAL - The USA uses NTSC
Now while most PAL DVD players in Europe will plat NTSC DVD's the reverse is not very often true - in that very few NTSC players will play PAL
So to be sure you need to create an NTSC disc unless the people you are sending it to can confirm that they can play PAL videos.
One easy way around the problem is not to create a DVD at all but just burn the actual video file to a disc (or send over the internet) - which the reciepient will play on their computer - not a DVD player

Re: Is the "DVD-video" multizone?
Thank you very much BrianCee!
So, just to repeat and be completeley sure: if i have the confirmation of the recepient that they can play PAL, then I dont have to worry about the regions/zones and can just make a PAL DVD and send it over?
Thank you again!
