PSPX7 Adjust
I recently upgraded to X7. I cannot figure out how to move a photo from Edit mode to Adjust mode. When I click on Adjust, I'm asked if I want to save the photo I'm working on and then it closes out the photo and moves to adjust. I can't even open a photo in Adjust. The open option is greyed out uner File. One other thing...is there a way to open 2 photos in the works space at the same time? I've been able to do this with other versions but can't seem to in X7.
Re: PSPX7 Adjust
Okay, I just found that if I first open a photo in Manage, I can then move it to Adjust or Edit. Not crazy about having to do it that way but it works. Still have the question about opening 2 photos in the same work space though.

Go the Window menu and untick the Tabbed Documents setting.

Re: PSPX7 Adjust
In Manage, the toolbar at the bottom allows you to call up the Navigator, from where you can select a directory containing your photos. Get familiar with Collections within Navigator to make life easier for yourself.
Within each of Manage, Adjust and Edit under menu item View you will find Palettes. Select Organizer. From Organizer you can select the photo to view or work on; in Manage it will show in Preview, in Adjust and Edit it brings it up for editing. Also, Organizer has the icon for Navigator. Organizer can be set to auto hide (pin icon) so that you only have the tab showing and have it available for when you need it. You do not move images/files from one function to another. Images are in your folder or directories and you call them up into PSP. Use Windows Explorer if you want to move files around.
In Adjust only one image can be opened at a time and when you leave Adjust the image needs to be closed - the program asks if you want to save it if you have done any editing. Use save as if you want to retain the original. In Edit you can have a number of images open and that is where you can see them side by side, as Kathy describes.
