OK, I want to record my OUTPUT of Drawing Brush Strokes, but NOT to have the Mouse "Brush" Cursor included in the "Recording". Any ideas on how to "hide" this?
Grazie
Is there a Control that allows me to HIDE the Mouse Cursor?

What recording software are you using? And does it have a Hide cursor option?
I use Camstudio (not camtasia) which has cursor options and one is to turn off the cursor. I don't know what software you use. And that will prevent the brush cursor from showing up.
Doesn't get rid of the brush outline, if you want to do that it's inside the General Preferences inside of PSP. But, usually the recordings software will have a way to ignore the cursor.

LeviFiction, thanks for replying:-LeviFiction wrote:What recording software are you using? And does it have a Hide cursor option?
1] I use Frédéric Baumann's "ScreenRecorder" software :-
http://www.fbmn-software.com/en/screen-recorder.html
2] It does have the HIDE option, but this doesn't happen in PSP, but IS effective outside of PSP.
So, any chance of hiding/removing the Cursor as a option in PSP?
Cheers

Re: Is there a Control that allows me to HIDE the Mouse Curs
I downloaded and installed the screen recorder. The cursor disappeared when I checked that check box. The only thing that showed up was the brush outline.
So, just to clarify. Are we talking about the actual cursor image that looks like a paint brush? Or are we talking about the brush outline that shows you where you're painting, size and shape of the brush and all of that?
To turn off the brush outline you go to File -> Preferences -> General Preferences.
Select "Display and caching" from the list on the left. And deselect "Show brush outlines"
The cursor image itself (the paint brush cursor) will always show up but should not be recorded in the recordings. I've done this with both Camstudio and ScreenRecorder.
Example of all three states

Re: Is there a Control that allows me to HIDE the Mouse Curs
And THAT is all I'm wanting, just the "results" of using the BRUSH. Yes, I too have turned off the Mouse Icon, I'm getting that "dark" RED Circle of the POSITION of the BRUSH Head being recorded too.LeviFiction wrote:The cursor disappeared when I checked that check box. Here's what I got - at the end of my RED arrow:- RED Ring of the BRUSH head 1a.JPG
Is there a way to remove that too?
Cheers

That is the brush outline.
I've already said how to get rid of that. It's in the general preferences for PSP.

Ahhah! - I'd interpreted your description as the actual BRUSH mark - meaning the BRUSH MARKS outline . .. And yes your advice works like a dream . . . I will most probably forget it . . But now it is here I can do a search for your comments in the future.
LF! Thank you.
