to w ork with filters i drop tehm in timeline?i dont know anything about it

You must put your video in the timeline first and then drop the filters onto your video in the timeline
then if it does not open automatically open the 'Options' panel by clicking on the little blue tab above the right hand end of the timeline
Choose 'Customise Filter' to open a dialogue box to change the features of the filter
You can add more than one filter to any video and in the options panel you can change the order they are applied because sometimes that changes the final affect.
You can also remove filters in the options panel by clicking on it and then the little cross near it.
