Need software to create photo galleries

Post by Rob Davis »

I'm replacing Photoshop and now have Paintshop Pro X7. The photo editing interface is very nice but I also need the web photo gallery feature that is in Photoshop. Any suggestions?

I would recommend Piwigo, which I use.
You can find it at piwigo.com
(If you go for it, I can give you a referral code ;)

I use Google Picasa to create albums for distant family and friends. Picasa is free. You can download and install the version for your computer and use it to view photos, similar to Manage. From there you can create albums into which you can gather photos from all directories and which allow putting the photos into any order you want. Then you can upload the photos easily into an online album, add captions, maps, etc. Easy to use.

Google Chrome has gone to Google+ which is a more "modern" version of Picasa. I prefer the old Picasa.
