Hello Folks...I am having some trouble with Boris graffiti. Admittedly, I am a novice at it, but I am learning, and following tutorials. So this is pretty easy stuff....but things are not working the way they are supposed to, it's hard enough to learn this program but when the software won't work right then you can't do anything!
So, here is my problem so far. I am tying to write text and have it spin along a sphere, like this Gripps tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LuYe83D ... e=youtu.be I can follow the tutorial along just fine, (as long as Boris doesn't crash- I have had frequent crashes on very simple operations) and things look just as they should in the preview window. When I click "Apply", there is no effect shown in VideoStudio, only the background image sitting there. If I use the "Change Track Shape" function, I can change that from 3D Sphere to a different function such as 3D plane, and things will work, but as soon as I try to use Sphere, Cylinder or Turn Page, then nothing gets applied in Video Studio.
Maybe I should try to delete and re-install Boris? Hope I can get this working right, I really want to learn how to use Boris. Thanks for any help folks!

Re: Trouble with Boris Gaffiti
it looks like I am wrestling with something that involves the resolution of the background clip. This is probably all my own fault, when I experiment with different background clips things will work for me. But, I do not understand that the size of the sphere changes drastically from one clip to another, depending on it's size and resolution properties. So this is probably just me struggling with things, but i sure would like to learn what is going on....wish there was more about Boris out there.

Hi
If you are working with HD
Make sure the project properties use 1920 x 1080 and that your clips in the timeline use the same, or at least 16:9 ratio.
Give us more info on the clips you are using.
Unfortunately I don't use Boris that much....

Re: Trouble with Boris Gaffiti
Thank you Trevor...I am just using a still photo as my background at this time, and it's a 1920x1080 photo. I'm just trying to do simple things to learn the program, but things don't seem to match up very well. I can contract the sphere into a tight ball in Boris, but when I apply it into VideoStudio the sphere is layed out quite differently from the way it is in Boris, much wider open. Until I can understand how to make my work in Boris look the same when it gets into Videostudio, I won't be able to do much with it.
