Unable to reopen Paintshop application without re-booting PC

Post by simmyjiff »

Hi, I've just installed Paint shop Pro X7 from an Electronic download from the Corel Web site and experiencing issues in reopening the application? when I turn on the PC, and open PSP there isn't a problem however, close the application and decide to reopen it again nothing happens unless I reboot the PC. I checked in the Status in Task Manager and noted that PSP Task is still 'Running' but the normal PSP icon has been replaced by a 'Folder' icon. In addition some of the thumbnail images are not populating on the screen, but an image is displayed in the Preview area when the space where thumbnail should be is clicked, so it would appear that the image is there but not displayed? Thanks
