Hi again
Have been unable to do much video since May for various reasons. However I have bought a new 'simple' camera. a 'Zoom Q2' which I thought may be of interest to some.
These cameras concentrate on their audio capabilities rather than video - although it does use Mpeg 4 AVC/h.264 format in HD 1920 * 1080p.
It has limitations when not on a tripod since it lacks the more sophisticated features of 'proper' camcorders but If anyone is largely recording concerts/etc it produces good results and it is OK for casual use on holiday etc. (my main uses anyway!)
Hear my first attempt here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEpYhUKYJ84
Has anybody else tried the 'Zoom' brand -there is a newer Q4 available.

PS my last post 'File format questions' I have abandoned largely because I was getting more confused! (must be old age)
