Hi

Increasing the frame size will allow you to set 60 fps, try setting the project properties to the second properties I listed earlier.
It is worth trying,

Have you enabled Smart Proxy, created a Proxy file, does that help

Did you try recording to a lower fps of 30 rather than 60 and set the bit rate (data Rate) to 20000kbps or lower.

I forgot to mention I set the mbps to 20 (Can't set the kbps, but 1mb = 1000kb; 20mb = 20000kbps I believe)
I also forgot to mention that I tried recording in 30 fps. Smart Proxy is enabled and I will try making a proxy file.
Sorry I forgot that stuff I just got CorelDRAW when I made the earlier post so I was pretty excited to try that
And I will try the 4K res but I cannot record in 4k, don't know if that will change or not but will still try.

Were you able to record to other properties maybe 30fps 1920 x 1080

For this existing clip you may be best to convert to more editable settings using a Video Converter.

It may be that Video Studio just does not cope well with 60fps MP4 files?

Otherwise ask on Corels Facebook, that is staffed by Corel employees maybe they can shed some light on the problem.

If you can provide a sample uploaded to a sharing site we could try the video on our pc, it is quite large at 2.8Gb, so maybe a minute duration would surfice.

I'm recording in 30fps at 1920x1080.

I'll get a sample in a couple hours, I gotta go to school ;c

You will get old soon enough, don’t rush………I think I remember being a kid once……

You misunderstand providing a sample, I meant the original video file, you would have to record a one minute video, uploading to YouTube will recode the video from the original, so downloading to will not use the same properties.
However I am trying using Torch browser has a download option,

These are the properties of the downloaded file from YT.

MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1280 x 720, 30 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 2794 Kbps, 16:9
44100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 192 Kbps

The video plays ok on my pc.

As Video Studio does not like the original video I did mention converting the video to a more editable format. Do you have a Video Converter program that will do the job.

Okay, I will go ahead and record something in a bit.

I don't have a program, and I have looked around. I only found a couple websites but those limit me to how much space I can use. If there is any recommendations I'll go ahead and use that but until then I'll keep looking.

Hi

If you download your YouTube sample you will find it uses different properties and will work ok in Video Studio. The file size is approx 220Mb compared to the original 2.8 Gb, big difference.

As you are limited in bandwidth ( the space you can use) then maybe uploading a sample is not a good idea.

You have a few options

1 / The properties you show earlier seem to be very big regarding 2.8 Gb, try recording to different settings, lower quality, a few test records will soon identify which works with Video Studio.

2 / You will be best to convert the video to another format.

Try using Video Studio to convert your video.

Add the video to the top track
Share – Mpeg4

Choose the second option using 1280 x 720
Then try using the 1920 x 1080 option

compare the two videos for quality and file size.

Okay, so I guess something I did made it work again.. but I'm going to keep this open for a few more days before I abandon this post because I want to make sure if I do run into problems I can post them here again.
