Corel Videostudio Pro X7: Audio cuts out :c
Heyo, me again c:
For some reason, I've been trying to record stuff, but and random points through out each video, the audio cuts out, and doesn't come back. I know this is the editor because if I just listen to the raw footage, then it plays out fine.

Hi
Sorry but I don’t understand what you are doing, can you explain a little more
1 / What does “Record Stuff” mean????? Do you mean capturing video?
2 /Any cameras involved, what type?....maybe connected to USB device, DV Mini camcorder
3 / With the video on the timeline, right click and choose properties what are they?
4 / or maybe you are using the screen capture option.
We need more information to give sensible replies...........

Re: Corel Videostudio Pro X7: Audio cuts out :c
I am having this problem as well. The audio plays fine and then after a random amount of time ( I seemed to notice at least 3 minutes into the video) I lost audio all of the sudden in the video editor. It plays audio just fine outside the editor. I capture my videos using the Nvidia ShadowPlay. It does a full desktop capture.

Hi Carson
welcome to the forums...
First thoughts
try setting your project properties to use 60fps, editing one of the AVCHD templates should allow that frame rate.

Re: Corel Videostudio Pro X7: Audio cuts out :c
I changed the Project Properties to the suggested 59(60) fps, however it still did not help my problem. I have tried looking around and can not find a solution.
Maybe the VideoStudio just does not do well with videos recorded using the Nvidia Shadowplay feature. Everything else seems fine besides the random audio loss, gets cut out.

Videostudio X7 (Ultimate) - Audio cuts out
Hi, me again.
When I try to edit a video, the audio cuts out in a video (Usually 3-5 minutes in) and doesn't come back.
I posted this a month ago and forgot about it, so now I'm just remaking the topic.
The properties are this:
http://imgur.com/fUbpzRw.png
I also thing that this might be to do with running out of RAM or something of the sorts so yeah.
If I'm missing anything then just ask me on this thread.
Thanks

May I add that the audio is just fine when I view it in Windows Movie Maker.

You forget about a post made a month ago, you don't answer questions and then you expect an answer within a couple of hours of posting?

Sorry I never replied. I forgot and got really busy ;c
Anyways:
1. Recording = Using ShadowPlay to capture various gameplay.
2. No cameras involved.
3. http://imgur.com/fUbpzRw - Properties
4. Yeah, capturing all teh screens :3 (No I'm just capturing my 1st monitor)
5. Nope, no 60fps. Should I do that?

Hi
Yes you should set your project to use 60fps because your video file has been recorded using 60 fps.
Does setting the 60 fps editing help.
Your MP4 properties are quite high, I doubt if Video Studio X7 can replicate those settings.
Are you able to record using either…………..
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 30 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 20000 Kbps, 16:9
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 256 Kbps
Or 4K which would give the higher settings.
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 3840 x 2160, 59.94 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 38000 Kbps, 16:9
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 256 Kbps
Finally what are you intending to create, if a video disc then you are best recording using 30fps x 1920 x 1080, first option above.

20mbps, 1920x1080, 30FPS
No improvements
