upgrading vs7 to vs9

I'v upgraded vs7 to vs9. Can i eras vs7 now or they depends one another?

You can erase VS7. The two programs are completely unrelated. However, if you have the upgrade version of VS 9 and got it because you already owned VS7, you will need to have the VS7 installation disc in case you need later to reinstall VS9.
