Editing and Rendering 1920x1080 60fps for YouTube (x7)
YouTube now allows 60 fps videos (which is AWESOME for gaming videos). I'm trying to figure out how to edit in 60 fps and then render in 60fps. I've checked a bunch of the different project settings and can't seem to figure out the best ones. Is there preset that I'm missing? If not, what is the best format for 60 fps videos?

And what are the properties of your original video, and the source?

Sorry for the lack of detail. First post
I scoured through the various "Movie Profile Manager" settings but I didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I tried creating a new H264 profile, but 60fps isn't an option (only 59.94).
I'm using x7 Pro. Here are some details about the videos

When they say 60 fps, it is usually just a shorthand way of saying 59.94 fps which is the true NTSC reading (double the interlaced 29.97 fps which is nowadays often called 30 fps...)

Fraps gives you the option to lock your game's framerate. Would it be better to lock the frame rate at 60 fps or 59.94 fps? Are there issues with recording at 60 and editing/rendering at 59.94? Like audio/video sync issues?

Hi
You are best using the original video frame rate, that shows as 60 fps.
To view your video clips properties MediaInfo would probably be best to get accurate info.
Not that what you see is wrong…..
I would be more concerned as to whether Video Studio can convert the Fraps codec and retain the quality.
However from Share – Custom you can set QT properties as:-
QuickTime Movie Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 60 fps
Frame-based
MPEG 4 Visual
100% Quality, 15 Key Frame Rate
None, 8.000 KHz, 8 bits, Stereo
AVC/H.264 option has this template, for NTSC it will show as 60p not 50p
AVC (1920 x 1080, 50p, 28Mbps)
You should do few render tests to see which creates the best quality for you.
