This is my first time on this forum.
I had purchased Pro X4 Ultimate early last year for my Windows XP machine hoping to learn and do some video editing. My computer proved far too weak for the program, even though the box said that I should have enough power, memory, etc. It was at the low end and FAR too slow.
In any event, I just purchased a new computer, a far more powerful one, and it's running Windows 7 Pro (64 bit). I tried to install the VideoStudio and it barely starts. I put in my serial number and clock 'next'. Shortly after that, it tells me that it couldn't complete the installation, and to click 'Finish' and try again another time.
Is this software somehow not compatible? Is there something I might not be doing correctly? I have the box version of the software.
thanks, in advance, for your help.
Jeff

Is your version of X4 an upgrade version - does it say "Upgrade" anywhere on the box or disc ?
