can video studio ultimate x7 be purchased with a back-up installation CD ? if so where ? I looked at the corel website and it was only available as a download

I always just burn the downloaded programme to disc - along with a small text file containing the serial number.
Only takes a few minutes to do and is much cheaper than buying a disc and paying postage.

Yes you can buy a disk version of X7. I have a very poor internet link so I always try to get the disk version as I have had so many errors with downloads. Amazon or Corel will provide.
It is easy for these guys who live in big cities with their fibre optic links and high speed connections. One of the downsides of living in the beautiful open countryside and being able to breath fresh air, enjoy real nature and admire the fantastic views, is a copper cable leading to a remote telephone exchange some 5km away!!

Hmmm... I live in a small country town 100 km north of the capital. Yet I still have better/faster internet connections than I had in Canberra, the capital of Australia... and also definitely managed non-copper download speeds for VS, though nowhere near as good as some of our colleagues elsewhere in the world.
