AS2 refuses to open a JPG/CR2 file

while trying out AS2 on my linux box (32bit arch linux) i received a segmentation fault during loading of previews. after restart some images are not displayed and i cannot make them shown even when doing file - open.

Remove the cache (a directory named cache in your user folder).

~/cache deleted (was already empty) but nothing changed

So you are using catalogs (otherwise the cache would not be empty)?
Then try now in the file system browser.

actually, i am using filebrowser all the time. have not discovered/explored catalogs yet.

Then your cache should not be empty.....
Are you using the right folder?

see... i can see most of the images (cr2 or jpg) in the folder (mountpoint of sd card) but not all. iirc it's 135 visible out of 145.

Yes, but the question is, why not the others. And the error you posted, points to a messed up cache.
Now when you write the cache is empty, then this seems to indicate you did not find the right cache to clear yet.

thank you, i found the right cache, deleted it and it did solve the issue.
