This is my first post on this forum. I have for many years been a very satisfied user of Paint Shop Pro through its many versions. I had PSP X (10) for a time but it got corrupted and I lost it during a PC crash. I have been using vers. 9.01 for some time now with no problems. I tried several times to install the trial vers. of PSPx7 but keep on getting error message ‘Setup.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close’. On opening the error signature message there is a long list of Exception Information.
I have uninstalled PSP 9.01 in case that was causing a ‘clashing’ problem, I have also shredded (deleted) the trial version in case it was corrupted and downloaded a fresh trial version, all to no avail.
I presume I don’t need to state here my PC technical information as submitted on registering.
I am not a computer expert although I have built half a dozen PC’s including this one I am using here, (about 8 years ago) and where I wish to install the above trial version.
