Rounding frame rate

Rounding frame rate
I have noticed that when I render a 29.97fps video to 30p with video studio, it rounds the frame rate to exactly 30fps progressive, will this cause any issues with the video, especially if the video was projected on to a projection screen? Also the video that I am rendering was filmed in an interlaced format, if I filmed video at 29.97fps progressive would video studio still round the frame rate?
