Hi,
I took some pics with Window Phone Lumia 1020 (41MP) and tried to process the RAW files (DNG) with Aftershot Pro2, but the program cant seems to locate / identify the files ..
does that mean that ASP2 cant process the file?
is there anyone / email that I can write into to support the file format for Windows Phone ? ( even Android is getting RAW format soon)
Cheers!
Can ASP2 process Windows Phone RAW files?

Re: Can ASP2 process Windows Phone RAW files?
Sorry to bump an old thread but, I cannot access DNG files shot with the Lumia 1020 either.
It seems DNG support for the Lumia 1020 need be added especially since they touted "OpenCL support will be quite beneficial especially since phones can now support up to 41MP" [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g4qSpGhptgQ] (of course at that time they may be referring to JPG).
But, it does seem however, every other program is adding support for new camera releases as they happen. This should not be a matter of whether or not to add support, it should just be there. Otherwise, you can't use ASP2 much at all.

"OpenCL support" refers to being able to use high powered video cards to do the processing, leaving your computer's CPU to do other things like get the next image ready to process. Just FYI. I have no idea what the plans are for future support.

Re: Can ASP2 process Windows Phone RAW files?
Yes, I know. I have an Apple ATI 5870 that can take the load off the 8 Cores in my Mac Pro. This would indeed be "beneficial given phones can now shoot up to 41MP" (technically 38MP DNG) however, the files are not even supported (unless in JPG) so I might as well be editing them in LR5 (which is quite slow).df wrote:"OpenCL support" refers to being able to use high powered video cards to do the processing, leaving your computer's CPU to do other things like get the next image ready to process. The key is adding support for the DNGs from the Lumia 1020 so we can leverage OpenCL than editing JPGs.
