image resize
To avoid distortion when resizing an image to 16:9 1920x1080 to match a Video Studio fame size, I first apply the 16:9 preset option via the crop tool .Then a part of the image has to be positioned and selected which cuts off some of the image before I go to image resize .Is there any way this loss of image can be resolved because sometimes it can leave out portions I do not want to loose. I have X5

Re: image resize
Not really. Essentially you have two real choices: Distortion, or cropping.
The smart carver tool will distort the image but you can select certain areas to be preserved.
Your only other option is to make the image smaller than you want, and give it a border to fill in the extra space. Or you can manually edit each image to try and squish elements together to force them into a smaller area.
