I brought PIONEER DVR-A09XL. It came with Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3.5
I don't know if it is standard edition or suite or delux
Can I upgrade that to Movie Factory 4.0 Disk Creator ?

You should be able to but check under the Help/About menu in your product to get more specific version information.
If you haven't already, then check the Ulead upgrade policy on their website for upgrade eligibility here -

If you're still unclear then you could email Ulead Customer Service and ask.
